President & Founder
Ashley Isenhoff is the President and Founder of HIS Creative Academy in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With more than a decade of experience in the performing and visual arts community, she established the Academy with a mission to inspire students to be creative, compassionate, and confident through arts education. As Director, Ashley oversees the organization's programs and day-to-day operations, drawing on a background that includes teaching, studies in psychology, business, and fine arts. Her leadership shapes the Academy's vision, culture, and continued growth across all three departments.
Treasurer & Vice President
Gregg Isenhoff serves as Treasurer and Vice President of the HIS Creative Academy Board. He brings a multifaceted career spanning law enforcement, education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship. He served with Kentwood Police Department, and received advanced training at New Mexico Tech, where he became a certified instructor in Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, Mobile Field Force, and Managing Civil Actions. Gregg later transitioned into education at the Kent Career Tech Center, where he was named a State of Michigan Educator of the Year nominee for 2020–2021 and co-created a Special Agent Cadet Program with Homeland Security Investigations, earning HSI's global Annual Executive Associate Director Award for innovation in education. Today, he is especially known for connecting students with high-impact internships and experiential learning opportunities, and his financial oversight and strategic guidance support the Academy's fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Compliance, Financial Reporting & Operations Specialist
Bringing more than 15 years of operational and project management expertise, Jazmine Yearack is a versatile leader with a strong background that includes scaling global digital programs and innovation initiatives during a multi-year tenure at Amway Corporation, alongside experience as a business owner and freelance consultant with Yak Investments. In her current role as Project Manager for Finance, Grants, and Special Projects at the Michigan SBDC, she leads high-priority initiatives, ensures strict grant compliance, designs automated software solutions to optimize organizational efficiency, and drives seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Outside of managing day-to-day operations and special projects, Jazmine can usually be found enjoying quality time with family, camping, hiking, and valiantly attempting to get better at pickleball.
Board Member
Trevor Hunt serves as a Board Member of HIS Creative Academy. He is the High School Student Ministries Pastor at Magnify Church, where he leads and shepherds high school students in faith, discipleship, and community. Trevor's ministry work involves guiding young people through Bible teaching, small groups, and activities designed to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. His experience mentoring and investing in the next generation aligns closely with the Academy's mission, and he brings a pastoral, relationship-centered perspective to the Board's vision for student development.
Board Member
Zippora Benting serves as Advancement Coordinator and Child Sponsorship Coordinator at Set Free Ministries. She is passionate about helping children discover their God-given gifts and grow in confidence and purpose. Outside of work, she enjoys triathlon, running, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to serve on the board of HIS Creative Academy and support its mission of helping students grow through the arts.

Programming and Marketing Director
Mrs. Bre is a wife and mom of seven who has raised her children to love creating music and art. She loves crafts, creative writing, and hands-on art. She's the program lead of Mending Hearts through the Arts, and also teaches our adults with special abilities gardening, writing, jewelry making, and more. Bre also teaches our youngest artists in performing arts about creativity, art, history, and being themselves. She helps with events and fundraising as well. Her energy and care are so valuable for our 3 departments and students in them and we're very grateful!
Development & Communications Lead
Mikayla DeMan is HIS team's Development & Communications Lead! Mikayla brings a deep passion for the arts and valuable experience in nonprofit work. With a degree in Occupational Therapy, she is excited to see her professional career and personal passions align through her work with HIS Creative Academy. Mikayla is a devoted wife and mom to two lovely and wonderfully wild little boys. She loves taking her family camping and has a goal of visiting and hiking every national park… and she's already explored 29! We are so excited to have Mikayla on our team and can't wait for all that's ahead.
